About the show
Please note this performance is taking place at Canada Water Theatre, not Theatre Peckham.
“Whatever you do, just don’t cut your own bangs!”
Lyssa, a rising young barrister, has one hero: Elle Woods. Like Elle, she has a plan. Make partner by 30. But when Mercury slips into retrograde and a workplace incident derails her career, Lyssa finds herself at Wellcure: a mental health facility where immersive A.I. therapy promises a fresh start. As sessions unravel, childhood memories, workplace dynamics and coded bias collide.
Structured around the menstrual cycle, Please Thank You Sorry is a funny, cutting exploration of pop culture and misogyny that challenges us to question the systems shaping our lives.
