New Trustees Announcement: Fran Sanderson & Adwoa-Alexsis Mintah

Theatre Peckham warmly welcomes two new Trustees to our Board, as we celebrate 40 years of nurturing creative talent.

Fran has 25 years of experience in investment and innovation programme design and delivery. She started her career at JPMorgan, before moving to the impact investment market in 2012 at Better Society Capital, after living off-grid in Portugal for a year. She launched Figurative in 2024 from Nesta, and sits on UnLtd’s Investment Committee, RSC’s Development Council and CoSTAR Foresight Lab’s Foresight Board. She is also a Trustee of I Stand Beside. Fran has studied creative writing and is a keen amateur musician.

Fran says: “Theatre Peckham is a buzzing, lively place at the heart of its community, committed to improving the lives of south-east Londoners as artists and as people. It is an immense privilege to join the talented, inventive and resourceful team in this work!”

Adwoa-Alexsis Mintah (right) joins Theatre Peckham as Trustee

Adwoa-Alexsis Mintah is a theatre producer, actress, and arts leader with extensive experience across the UK cultural sector. She currently works in the producing department at the National Theatre, where her credits include productions such as The Importance of Being Earnest, The Hot Wing King, and Grenfell: In the Words of Survivors. Previously, she worked with Manchester International Festival and founded Minty Fresh Productions. Passionate about nurturing new talent and widening access to the arts, she combines creative expertise with a strong commitment to inclusive cultural leadership. 

Adwoa-Alexsis says: “I am excited to join the board of Theatre Peckham because of its powerful commitment to empowering young people through the arts, amplifying diverse voices, and creating meaningful social impact in the community.”
