Choosing a Class

Please choose a class appropriate to your child’s age from the timetable below. Our Academy team and tutors will also consider how each young person is progressing within their class and whether the learning environment is supporting their development, confidence and wellbeing. Occasionally, following attendance, tutor observation and review by the Academy team, we may feel that a young person would benefit more from a different class. Where this is the case, we will speak with the parent/carer to explain our observations and the reasons for the proposed change. In some circumstances, where we believe that a different class would better support a young person’s learning, wellbeing and continued development, the Academy may decide that a change of class is the most appropriate next step.

You can read more about Finding the right class in our ‘A Quick Guide for Parents & Carers’ on this page.

STARS OF PECKHAM – A festival celebrating young talent

Please see below all the information parents need to know about the Dress Run week and the Show week.

DRESS RUN DEFINITION: A rehearsal in costume where the full production is performed. In the theatre, a dress rehearsal gives the actors / dancers a chance to say their lines / practice their routines and hit their marks one last time before opening night or show week. It’s called a dress rehearsal because performers wear their full costume and makeup, dressed just as they will be during the performance.

Show week / OPENING: This is the period when a show opens for the audiences. The company is performing in front of a live audience.

Information on the showcase dates will be published later in the year.
