Eco Creatures Workshop (11 – 15)

Let’s build a creature together! In these workshops you will design and make your own imaginary creatures, focusing on a different body part each week. Tails, talons, scales, paws, jaws – be inventive and unleash your imagination!  At the end of the 4 classes we will virtually combine everyone’s work to build our fantastical beasts.  Using found and recycled materials from around your home, you will learn useful prop making skills and find creative ways to bring your designs to life.

Every Saturday from 12pm – 12.40pm

Dates: Saturday 11th July, Saturday 18th July, Saturday 25th July, Saturday 1st August

Workshop run by Sonia Odedra & Maggie Campbell

Sonia and Maggie are performance designers working in the fields of theatre, dance, live art and film. They graduated from Central Saint Martins where they met and formed a creative partnership. They believe that theatre should be sustainable and inclusive, and their work uses exclusively natural and upcycled materials. Sonia and Maggie have recently formed a theatre collective called ‘Petri Delights,’ where they devise experimental design-led performances. Their work has been shown at The Place Theatre, The Platform Theatre, and The Crypt Gallery.
