Stuck at home and need some inspiration? If you’re aged 14-21 and want a challenge to keep creative, we’re now accepting submissions for our new project, FINAL DRAFTS.

We have selected the stimulus and the rest is up to you!

Our chosen stimulus is taken from Self Portrait with Yellow Dress by award winning poet, Safia Elhillo.

You can write your response in prose, as a script, song lyrics, poetry or a piece of spoken word.

6 selected writers will receive mentorship from Theatre Peckham’s creative professionals who will provide bespoke feedback on your work over 2 weeks, with your Final Draft published on our website.

Our 4 simple rules:

• You must be between 14 and 21 years old to participate
• Your submission must be an original work
• Spoken word, Poetry and song lyrics can be maximum of 4 A4 sides. Prose and Scripts can be a maximum of 6 A4 Sides.
• You must write in response to or draw inspiration from the stimulus
