REP Company (18-25 YRS)
Theatre Peckham’s REP Company is a free 4-Month actor training programme for young actors aged 18-25.
What is REP?
Theatre Peckham’s REP Company is all about REPRESENTING the rich diversity of young talent in London. We carefully select creatives who embody this diversity and provide them with intensive weekly training in various acting techniques.
REP is designed to help young actors hone their skills and unleash their creative potential. We aim to empower and inspire young people, equipping them with the tools and support they need to confidently pursue a career in acting.
The programme will include:
- Weekly intensive actor training
- Free headshots and AKTAreel with AKTA Productions
- Performing in the REP Monologue Showcase as part of Peckham Fringe 2026
Eligibility: Due to the volume of interest for places, funding restrictions and reporting requirements all applicants have to meet the following three criteria:
- Aged 18-25 at the start of the course (March 2026)
- Live in a London borough
- Have attended a state school or college
Applicants also have to meet at least one of the following:
- Be living in a household which receives means-tested benefits
- Identify as Black, Asian or ethnically diverse
- Live in Camberwell or Peckham
- Have a declared disability
- Have recent experience of the UK Care System, be a Care Leaver or be estranged from their parents
- Be a young carer or have significant caring responsibilities

What is REP Like?
“It has been such a privilege to be a part of TP’s REP Company this year. I have been fiercely challenged during the year and it has led to multiple acting discoveries. One of which is my desire to look inwards and know oneself better as this plays a part in all the work involved. Any joy I found at auditions was because I was constantly in practice every Tuesday.“
“I understand this is a charity organisation and the training was free which is massive especially for working class people like myself who can’t afford training.”
When do sessions take place?
Every Tuesday 10:30am-1pm. Starting 3rd March 2026.
Showcase dress rehearsal and performance: Wednesday 27th May 2026.
Occasional additional dates may be required.
