About the show
Please note, this performance is taking place at Canada Water Theatre, not Theatre Peckham.
A patient on suicide watch is monitored by an AI bot. The machine provides therapy and companionship to a lonely man in a desperate situation. What starts as a difficult interaction between them, grows into a close relationship, but is that sustainable?
A darkly comic portrayal of the interactions between humans and machines that are becoming commonplace in all our lives.
Despite the humour on the surface, this short one act play prods the AI toad that sits on all our desks and inhabits our devices. Funny, witty and relevant, this new production is a must-see for all modern humans.
This programme is supported by Canada Water – a growing waterside neighbourhood, delivered in joint venture by British Land and AustralianSuper, in partnership with Southwark Council. Find out more about Round The Dock here.
