Ella Grey and her best friends are ordinary kids from ordinary families. They fall in and out of love, play music, dance, stare at the stars, and yearn for excitement.
One day a musician called Orpheus, appears on the beach entrancing them all, particularly Ella. It is a meeting that will change all their lives forever. A tale of friends and of ancient forces, told since the dawn of time and retold again for today.
