About the show
Please note this performance is taking place at Canada Water Theatre, not Theatre Peckham.
Ten writers. Ten original stories. One dynamic evening of new writing.
Join us for the Alex Wheatle Witness Writing Project Script Sharing, a celebration of Young Black voices and the stories they are bringing to the stage.
Developed through an intensive programme created by Manchester Metropolitan University, Words of Colour and Theatre Peckham, and led by Roy Alexander Weise and guest playwright Roy Williams OBE, these brand new scripts explore contemporary experiences.
For one night only, extracts from each writer’s work will be performed by Theatre Peckham’s Young Peckham actors, offering audiences an exclusive first look at a new generation of playwrights.
Be among the first to discover new voices and witness the future of Black British storytelling.
