An Investigation

28 May

About the show

Alex Rugman is a professor in Computational Behaviourism at MIT. ‘An Investigation’ is a lecture he has prepared especially for the Peckham Fringe, motivated primarily by the prospect of financial gain (there remains – sadly – no money in academia). The lecture will cover the basics of B.F. Skinner’s theory of radical behaviourism, and potential new applications of this theory driven by data science. It will also touch on other topics including (but not limited to) transhumanism, novelty t shirts, TV’s ‘The Masked Singer’, supermarkets, determinism, CAPTCHAs, Taylor Swift and the debate over free will (which it will solve once and for all).

Running Time: 55mins

Age Suitability: 16+

There is no allocated seating for this show.
