About the show
This two-hour session will explore Afro Caribbean rhythms and steps in an accessible, fun dance session for a wide range of participants. Facilitated by Asmara Cammock (Tavaziva Dance).
Suitable for the whole community, it is a chance to let go, dance and have fun!
About Asmara Cammock Asmara Cammock is a company dancer with Tavaziva Dance, which she joined in 2017. Her other credits include ACE dance and music, The 1975, the BBC, and Phoenix Dance Theatre: Windrush ‘The Movement of the People’. She trained at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and at Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
About Tavaziva Dance
Tavaziva Dance was established in 2004 and is renowned for beautiful and dynamic performances which combine contemporary and African dance techniques. Artistic Director Bawren Tavaziva has choreographed over 15 full length works for the Company, including the acclaimed Izindava, Greed, and Boy’s Khaya.
