Support Us

Theatre Peckham places excellence, accessibility, and inclusive engagement at the centre of its artistic offer. We are diversity-conscious and community-focused, delivering world-class creative learning and performance, with, by and for young people, accompanying them from the age of 3 until their first steps into a career in the creative industries.

Theatre Peckham has been a local charity for over 30 years, with a rich history of inspiring and educating thousands of young people in Peckham and Camberwell (Greater London, UK) through long-term engagement with the arts.

Over the year, we liaise with around 30 schools and 400 families, delivering over 30 weekly performing arts classes. Inclusivity is at the heart of Theatre Peckham: 79% of participants define themselves as ethnically diverse and 24% are entitled to fee support due to low income.

In light of the government’s announcement regarding COVID-19, as a preventative measure to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus, Theatre Peckham has made the difficult decision to close our building to the public until further notice and suspended all performances and our TP Academy.

As a registered charity, Theatre Peckham heavily relies on tickets sales and Academy fees for a significant proportion of our income, in order to support the vital work we do here with young people. The impact of COVID-19 on an organisation like ours, and many others, is a real threat to our existence and future.

Right now your support means more than ever. Please donate and help us keep our doors open to young people in the future.

We are grateful to our current supporters and friends for their commitment to our work, without their help, we would not achieve all that we have.

Our New Theatre

In October 2016, Theatre Peckham has moved into its new purpose built theatre and studios on the site of the original home in Havil Street. Our Capital Project has enabled us to fit out and equip the building to a high standard, including a beautiful retractable seating bank for 200, sound, lighting and assisted listening equipment, a projector and retractable screen as well as furniture, cafĂ© fittings and IT and box office equipment.  We are extremely grateful to all our funders who took part in our successful capital campaign.
