Thank you for being a part of our journey this past year

The past year has marked a significant milestone in Theatre Peckham’s output as a flagship cultural venue and pioneering Learning Theatre.
Over the past year, we have seen Theatre Peckham grow in recognition for its academy programme, inclusive engagement of the local community and support for artists who continue to push the boundaries in an industry that is on the brink of change. Our achievements are impressive – our possibilities greater still.
Our Offie Award-Nominated production of Anders Lustgarten’s Extremism, solidified our commitment to Training and Opportunities for young people by casting 12 emerging actors aged 17-25 from Southwark and neighbouring boroughs. We ensured roles were offered to a group of aspiring young actors from a wide ethnic mix, many of whom were not engaged in education, employment or training.
In December, TP’s highly anticipated Christmas show landed, featuring 24 of our talented Academy students. The comments we received from the young people of Southwark for Jack and the Beanstalk was overwhelming and we were thrilled to be able to offer discounted tickets to over 30 schools, inspiring students across the borough through the magic of theatre.
Thank you to everyone who connected, supported, visited, celebrated us over the past year! We’re on an exciting journey and during uncertain times we will continue to support our young people, community and artists and we hope you will join us as we continue to grow and inspire.
Stay tuned…
