Theatre Peckham Jobs

Theatre Peckham aims to inspire young people from the diverse communities of South London to engage with the performing arts as audiences, participants and artists.

Theatre Peckham is a learning theatre; an academy where inspirational artists meet inspirational young people from the diverse communities of South London.  It is home to world class creative learning and performance, with, by and for young people, providing a talent pipeline into the creative industries.  In an area of multiple disadvantage we mount high quality theatre productions, training, education and progression routes, demonstrating the fresh talent and energy of our diverse young people and the new creations they inspire and author.  Over the long term, starting with the very young, we have created pathways for our under-represented young people into higher education and employment

The Company is regarded as a key player in the local arts and education landscape; and delivers against local and national priorities in terms of cultural diversity, economic disadvantage, children and young people and serving local audiences.   The executive team comprises Teresa Early, founder and Artistic Director and Suzy Smith, Executive Director; between them they lead a small staff team.

In 2016 we moved into our purpose built theatre and studios, bringing together our programme of education, training and performance into one site for the first time and opening up a range of opportunities to develop creative talents and embrace exciting new partnerships and collaborations.  Our ambition is to create a new home that is inspiring, creative and truly welcomes all young people and their families; to become a cornerstone of Peckham’s cultural and social life.
